The first annual ITB Week was a success! Thanks to everyone and the ITB Week Committee for their efforts and cooperation.
The week of bonding began on Sunday with a workshop designed to teach one another about the history and principles of our national organizations and chapters. Brothers were interested to learn about Tau Beta Sigma history and we were excited to learn about Kappa Kappa Psi history. Our two organizations also had the first joint chapter meeting to discuss collaborative projects and to learn more about the inner-workings of the other’s organization.
Monday was Meet-a-Bruh Monday! Our brothers held a social media contest where they allowed people to take pictures with them as a submission to the contest to win prizes.
Trivia Tuesday was challenging but a blast! Brothers and Sisters came together in teams and competed to see who knew the most random facts.
Wava Wednesday was our social media contest. Like Meet-a-Bruh Monday, we invited people to take pictures of us as submissions to a contest to win a tank top from us.
For Thirsty Thursday, we poured cups of punch for everyone as a reward for a long pep band rehearsal! We even got a few donations in our tip jar!
Of course, we couldn’t forget service! On Service Friday, Brothers and Sisters ventured to Kidzu Kids’ Museum to play for kids. We had a mini-parade for them. They were incredibly excited and energetic marching band members for the day. They were also taught to conduct us a little bit!
The week closed off with a bonding brunch at Carolina Coffee Shop. Woohoo breakfast food <3
All in all, the week of social, service, and fun was a huge success! We can’t wait for the next ITB Week.
