We are the ILlest Iota Lambda Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Our purpose is to serve our band and to fulfill our Mission Statement (which is below). Our goal is to show others our dedication and to instill our love for music in others. It is an honor to be selected to serve our band!

We provide exceptional service to collegiate bands and promote equality and diversity, including empowering women in the band profession. We cultivate leadership, educational achievement, music appreciation and community development.

Vision Statement

To create the pre-eminent organization to promote band music as an integral part of the American cultural experience; and, to promote enrichment of the human experience through participation in and exposure to collegiate bands; and, to recognize deserving women and their contributions to these goals.
