How it started....
Joint Relations Award - SEDC 2023The Joint Relations award is presented to a chapter in the district who has made efforts to cooperate with other musical organizations on their campus.
For Iota Lambda, this meant collaborating with the other Greek Music Counsel orgs- Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Sigma Alpha Iota, and Kappa Kappa Psi- to complete various service and sisterhood projects. These projects included, but are not limited to, playing music for the elderly at Carolina Meadows (with PMA), holding a menstrual product drive (with SAI), and strengthening our bond with KKPsi during ITB week, which is traditionally held once every February. Thank you to the SED Counsel for recognizing our chapter's accomplishments and granting us this award! |

Focus On Five Completion
The Focus On Five campaign was first developed by the 2013-2015 NVPSP Jonathan Markowski in 2014. It was created as a way to guide Chapters toward specific initiatives and activities that fulfill the Mission of the Sorority and its core operations. Focus on Five requires the completion of eight national projects - five stripes and three lyre pieces- which are outlined per biennium at the national convention. Focus on Five guidelines can be found on www.tbsigma.org/focuson5/ .
