Rush Week had a late start, but it was absolutely ahhhhh-mazing! We started off the week with a laid-back movie night. We were planning to watch Tangled, but things happen and we ended up watching The Road to El Dorado. Lot of laughs were shared, and lots of popcorn was devoured! Next, we had our service event after Tuesday’s practice in Kenan Music Building where we stacked up chairs and put away stands. We love serving the UNC Bands and hope everyone who attended this event enjoyed it too. On Wednesday, Cheerwine and Design made a comeback! This time we created awesome tie-dye shirts while sipping on some delicious Cheerwine. My fingers may have been stained blue for a while, but it was all worth it! Capture the Flag was our last public event on Friday! It was my first time playing, even though it was very exhausting, it was the most fun I had all week. I’m also glad we had delicious ice pops to cool us down afterwards. P.S. Although I’m still sore, I’m surviving though! We ended rush week with an invitation-only dinner. We had an amazing pasta bar, Caesar salad, and some reallyyyyy GREAT desserts! Thanks to all my SisTAUs for donating their time and money into making the best dinner possible!! I enjoyed the company of every single person who attended a rush event, so thanks to you all too! I’m excited as VPM to lead a new line into this wonderful sisterhood!!
